On Monday 16 November at 7pm the mayors of Hackney and Tower Hamlets will appear at The Great Debate on the Goodsyard hosted by More Light More Power Campaign and the Hackney Society. This debate is a key moment to outline the community's concerns and will highlight the importance of local decision-making and how vital it is to consider the needs of the boroughs. Come to St Leonard's, Shoreditch High St, E1 6JN.

David Donoghue, Spokesman for More Light More Power, says: "The Goodsyard development will force people into shadow and deprive them of light and warmth, it will not provide for local businesses, it fails to provide homes that Londoners could afford and it will kill the vitality of the area. This must not be Boris Johnson's parting gift to the East End."
